A practical training program that works in real life...
Pulling, barking, jumping, lunging, and not listening are often symptoms of overexcitement.
Most training starts with commands. This program starts with state of mind.
When your dog is calm, everything gets easier.
That is the foundation of the Chill Dog program.
“Training with Laurie made a big difference for my dog. His leash pulling improved a lot, and he’s much better with distractions. We’re still working on the counter surfing, but we’ve made real progress. Laurie explained everything clearly and gave me tools that actually work in real life. I’d definitely recommend this program to other dog owners. The key to success is that owners keep applying the tools after training.” ~ Mia, Beau’s owner

If that sounds familiar, this program was made for you.
1. Calm Your Dog and Stop Barking
Learn how to lower your dog’s overall excitement so everything else gets easier.
Learn how to create calmer, more controlled walks without pulling, lagging, or constant tension.
Learn how to stop jumping on people by controlling excitement and creating calmer greetings.
Learn how to make your dog’s name meaningful again so they come back to you more reliably.
“Laurie’s training was a game changer. She teaches the owners as much as the dogs, and that made all the difference for us. Learning ‘the dance’ helped me keep my dog calm around some of his triggers on walks, and he now barks much less, if at all, when people come to the house.”
— Maureen, Bodie’s owner
Why Learn From Me
I’ve been working with dogs for more than 25 years as a trainer, dog walker, pet sitter, and daycare owner.
I owned my first daycare for 10 years and started my current daycare in 2019.
My approach comes from decades of working with real dogs in real-life situations and seeing what actually works. This is the same calm, practical system I use every day.
